Hideki Matsui had 4 hits and 2 RBI at the ballpark where the Tampico Stogies
beat the California Gangsta Luv in 11 innings 4 to 3.

The game was deadlocked at 3 after nine full innings.  Tampico ended up
winning it in the 11th inning.  Matsui lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' (his
23rd of the season).  Tampico won despite being out-hit by California 13 hits
to 9.  

The winning pitcher was Jason Frasor(2-2) who allowed no runs in 1 and 2/3
innings. Nate Field gained credit for his 1st save.  Danys Baez(2-3) was
given the loss in relief.  He was stingy with the baserunners, allowing just
1 hit and no walks in 3 innings.
